I recently came across a book titled "Early Misosuri Ancestors, Vol. 1, From Newspapers, 1808-1822" by Lois Stanley, George F. Wilson, and Maryhelen Wilson published by the Southern Historical Press, Inc. 1990.The following information is listed.
CASNER (CASNAR), George
6-21-1810 - warns the public that he will not pay a note he gave Joseph Moore
4-2-1813 - bankrupt
2-27-1818 - asks debtors to pay
2-3-1819 - disolves partnership with John L. Sutton in blacksmith shop
12-1-1819 - advertises a 'new livery stable on the hill,'
9-20-1820 - offers $40 reward for stolen bay horse
CARSNER, George
4-12-1820s - his formerproperty on 5th St. offered for sale or rent byMoses Broadwell.
I am posting this information in the event someone might be looking for it.Can anyone tie this person in with a particular Casner line.
