My name is Dottie Miller, and I'm researching Caspari for my husband whose mother was born a Caspari. Your line being from Prussia looks as though it might have his ancestors in it, so I'm hoping you can help me. What I have is:

Friedrich Caspari; b. 1821/22; Germany
m. Ernestine (or Ernstine or Ernstone) last name unknown
chn 1: Caspari, Ida; b. 1845 in Berlin, Ger.
m. Forbrich, Martin in Berlin, Ger.
2 Caspari, Carl Julius; b. 1856/57 June 18; near Poznan
West Prussia
d. 1920 Jan 18; Steele Co., MN
m. Hoedt, Bertha Marie; b. 1857 Sep 8, Germany

These are the pertinent ones to my search. I have a little more, i.e. more children; their children, more dates, and such; and if these connect with yours, I'll be more than happy to provide all of it to you if you'd like.

Thank you for anything you can do to help find the rest of the family for us. I'll be glad to buy the CD or whatever once I know there is a connection, but it's a lot of money to spend on a long shot (I don't even buy lottery tickets, if that tells you anything).
