Yes, my Casparys are Jewish. They are from Ryczywol, Old Posen Provience, Poland. Their town was in Prussia when they came over in the mid 1800s. They lived in South Carolina and Ohio.

Caspary seems to be a very uncommon name. But it has a very common orgin - the German name Caspar. So there are likely many different unrelated fmilies with the name Caspary - all desended from different men named Caspar. I would especially doubt that Jewish and Christian Casparys are related.

But please tell us about your family. What are their names? Where are they from in Germany/Prussia/Poland, etc? Maybe you can connect with someone here.
