LOUIS V. CASSATA Navy Veteran of WWII

Louis V. Cassata, 78, of Park Ridge, died on May 26. He was born on Aug. 2, 1925. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII. Mr. Cassata is survived by his wife, Betty (nee Macholl) Cassata; son Gary (Kerry) Cassata; grandsons Peter, William and Michael. Nieces Diane and Geraldine. He was preceded in death by his son Robert Cassata and brother Salvatore Cassata. Visitation was at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy., Park Ridge, on Friday, May 28. Funeral services were on Saturday at Our Lady of Ransom Church, Niles. Mass was at 10 a.m. Interment was private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
