Castletons of Philadelphia

I'm looking for information on a Castleton family living in the Philadelphia area during the Civil War. Supposedly there was a member of the family, a James Castleton, who was a Lieutenant in the Union Army. He had also fought in the Mexican War in his Uncle's division. Lt. James Castleton had supposedly settled in Kansas or Missouri after serving in Mexico, and prior to the start of the Civil War. He sustained a hip injury in Mexico.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
