Robert S. Cathcart in Brazil.

Robert S. Cathcart lived in Brazil from the late 1820's onward. He had contact with my ggg-grandfather Governor John Pollard Gaines in March of 1850. I am trying to locate any information a descendent of Mr. Cathcart may have concerning the where-abouts of the grave locations of the Governor's two daughters on Santa Catarina Island. Mr. Cathcart was from Nantucket, Mass., and had been Captain of a Whaler before arriving in Brazil about 1827. He married a Brazillian woman and is reported to have raised a large family. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, John Calvin Gaines III.
