Hello. I am from a Cathcart line that came from Antrim Ireland. My Cathcart was Samuel Cathcart. who sailed from Bristol and landed in Charles Town, South Carolina in 1768 at the age of 23, making him born in 1745. He came on the Bounty Act making him eligable for 100 acres of free land, which was in Spartanburg Co. South Carolina. He was in the American Revolution and raised a family of five daughters and two sons. I know nothing more about his connection to Antrim or family. Please, if your information should accidently mention a son named Samuel, pass the information on to me. Thank you very much. Annabelle
