Holly,
The years are wrong, but I'm intrigued by David going to British Columbia. Was that a trip the whole family made?

I have a William Cathcart, b. ca. 1850-d. 1919. He married Margaret unk. Two of their sons, Andrew Gordon (1884-1918) and Richard Robert (1892-1917) went to British Columbia from Omagh,Tyrone as young men; enlisted in the Great War from there; both died - one in France and one in Belgium.
