Seeking information for Theodore Cathcart (gg grandfather). According to 1870 Federal Census for Perry County Alabama, Theodore was born in North Carolina about 1825 (Listed in 1870 census as 45 years old). Theodore married Isabella Lewis in Coosa County Alabama during October 1853. They had 2 daughters: Mary Martha Cathcart (ggrandmother) born about 1866 and Adelane (sp) Cathcart born about 1868. Both daughters are buried in Shady Grove Cemetery, Randolph, Alabama. According to my deceased Aunt, Theodore and Isabella are buried at Shady Grove in unmarked graves. There may be a tie between William Cathcart - Larkin Cathcart (born about 1826). This family moved to Coweta Georgia about 1835-36. Again, according to my deceased grandmother, Theodore came to Alabama from North Carolina via Georgia. I have been at a dead end with Theodore for the past 5 years and will be grateful for any information.
