What a shock to learn of Boyt's death! I'm sure that I speak for more Cathey descendants than one could count, when I say that we all owe him an immeasurable debt of gratitude.I am descended from George Cathey ;). If it hadn't been for Boyt's diligence in getting his very well-researched, scholarly work published,and sorting out all those Georges, I still wouldn't know much about my ancestry. I will always be grateful for his dedication to documenting the Cathey family history.
