CATON, George Clifford
George Clifford Caton, 63, of RD 2, Frostburg, died suddenly Friday while driving his car on the Ohio Turnpike. He was enroute to Cleveland to visit some of his children. Mr. Caton was a son of the late George and Nancy (Albright) Caton. He was a member of the Lonaconing VFW. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nellie (Eisler) Caton; four sons, James Caton, Virgil Caton, Thomas Caton, all of Cleveland; Clifford Caton, Frostburg; five daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Himmler, Frostburg; Mrs. Evelyn Short, and Mrs. Emma Thorn, both of Cumberland; Mrs. Maryanne Wilhelm, RD 1, Lonaconing; Mrs. Nancy Wilhelm, Star Route, Frostburg; a brother, Elmer Caton, Baltimore; two sisters, Mrs. Oma McKenzie, Frostburg, and Mrs. Edna Baker, Cumberland; four stepsons, James Klink, Transfer, Pa.; Robert Klink, Merger, Pa.; Harold Klink, Frostburg; Lewis Shroyer, Cumberland; 36 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. The body is at the Hafer Frost Mansion, Frostburg.
