Yes, Kath - I can help. I have birth certificates, death certificates and a family line going back a couple of hundred years. Will be happy to send them to you. Your family is descended from Charles and Ann Catanach, who hailed from Glenmuick, Aberdeen, Scotland circa 1740 (as far as I have gone too date.

The Margaret to whom you refer is Margaret Ryan, born County Clare, Ireland & whose parents were Patrick Ryan and Margaret Harrigan.

James and Margaret were married 1 Nov 1859 in St Marys' Geelong.
