Dear Kath

I will send a gedcom file via your email address. I will compact it using Winzip. Once you have perused it, if you would like copies of the certificates, do let me know (I will need your snail mail address) and they will be winging their way to you.

According to James Death Certificate, he died in the Wollundoy Private Hospital in Narrandera. His Death Certificate states that he was late of Murrumbidgee Shire. His property was 'Rosewood' at Darlington Point, some 2,600 acres

Informant was son, John H Cattanach, of Darlington Point. Other children named in death certificate were James A, aged 39; Helen S, aged 37; Elizabeth M, aged 35; Mary M G, aged 28 and Edward W, aged 32. All living, none deceased.

Undertaker was F Lindlay.

James was buried according to the rites of the Presbyterian Ch by the Rev Charles H H.... (the last hard to read). Probate was issued, but I have not been able to afford to get that to date. Supreme Court Probate No: 210364, Instrument P. If you can obtain that, it should make interesting reading.

Anyway, enough for now. Will be most interested to hear your thoughts once you receive the gedcom which, by the by, is fully importable to any of the packages you run.

I would love photographs of the cemetery headstones.
