I have also traced my ancestry to Pedro Jorge Caballero from Louisiana. My grandfather on my mother's side was Frank Cavalier, son of Andre Cavalier (originally Andre Magloire Caballero born in Assumption Parish in 1843). I show two Marceline Caballero's in my family search. Both are sisters to Andre Caballero. One is Marcelline Eulalie Caballero, the other is Marceline Marie Caballero. It is my understanding that it was customary to name a second child with the name of a sibling that died as an infant. Do not have anything to substantiate that this was the case this time. I do not see anyone named Jean Manuel Cavalier in my search so far. It may however interest you to know that it appears that Pedro Jorge Caballero was born Jan 17, 1745(or 1746) in Aguimes, Gran Canary, Canary Islands.
