I have not run accross Francis X. and Louise Machabe Lecavalier/Cavelier/Cavalier nor their son Magaloire. There are several books both in English and in French which trace the Franch-Canadian surnames back through the histroy of Canada to their origins in France.
Some of these book are limited in a time frame such as the one written by Rene Jette which goes from 1730 back to the family's origin in France. What is the time frame of your Lecavalier family?
