I am a descendant of the older John and Jane (Tolbert/Talbot) Cave through their son, Thomas J. Caves
and second wife, Nancy Permelia Kirk Caves. Thomas and
Nancy were my paternal Great Grandparents, through daughter,
Cordelia Ann (Caves) Morrow. I don't know whose son this
John would be, maybe son of John Tolbert Cave/Caves or the
son of James Caves, younger brother to John and Thomas. A
lot of our family are buried in the Kelley Cemetery at Springfield or Ash Grove. I don't have my records here in
front of me. Thomas and Nancy are buried on land which was
theirs-near Davenport, OK. Thomas' sister, Nancy Caves and
husband, Solomon Madewell also came to OK from Missouri and
lived near Davenport, OK. There are some of the Cave kin
out in CA and should be some up in Wyoming still, but so
many of the older ones are gone now. My Dad has been gone
23 years today, June 2, 2006 and Mom has been gone almost
32 years. There are or were Perryman kin there around
Ash Grove, MO. My Great Aunt Lula Caves married John Perryman and had several children. The Caves came to Missouri from Roane County, TN and were earlier in Surry County, NC. Tharell Ann Morrow
