Hi, David, I read your message with great interest. I come from Cave ancestry. My great grandmother was Emma Jane Cave, born 29 April 1840, died 24 April 1914. My Scottish Cave ancestry is linked by the royal line of the grandson of William IV, who married a Mary Cave, so you may be related through this too. My Great grandmother was part of the Cave and Cave-Browne-Cave baroncies. She used to visit her cousins at our family home, Stanford Hall, Lutterworth, Liecestershire, in the late 1890s. The home is occupied by Nicholas Cave, heir to the Braye/Cave Baroncies. Also, check out the info online regarding the last Aethling as we have a Cave connection there in Scotland. I would love to get some info from you too. Kind regards, Julie Lawrence, Adelaide South Australia.
