Add me to the list of people with Caves from Leicester. I started contact with the Cave Family History Society over a year ago and Hugh was able to send me charts that went back to the 1500s as a direct line from my gg grandfather John Cave Hill (bp 5 Dec. 1823 m. 1847 Yarmouth, Eng. Mary Ann Cole, immigrated approx. 1854).

His father was John Hill who m. Rebecca Cave 1821 South Kilworth, Leicester. Rebecca was the daughter of Jonathon Cave b. 1773 and Mary (Cave) Porter and she was born in 1794 South Kilworth and so on (lots more).
