Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
In unrelated 1860s-era research, I have been drawn into the Cave family of Montebello, Orange county, VA and specifically to Felix H., said to have been s/o Richard of Montebello, who mar. Ellen Ann Macon (c1824-1875), d/o Conway C. Macon (1792 Orange-1860 Richmond - Hollywood cem.) My narrow focus is on "Jane," a sister-in-law of Ellen and war-widow of Ellen's brother, Edgar (1827-1861). Jane (Mrs. Edgar Macon) and young son, Edgar, Jr., was living with the Caves in Richmond as the curtain was closing on the Confederacy. Turbulent times and short duration have produced a confusion for me -- glad of help or exchange with others interested.
