I DO! I DO! i have an intrest in this family line since it is my husbands name. The orgin of the cawthra's goes back to the 13th century...
1250-John Quer de ray(Quir de ray)
old french (Coeur de Roi)
settled and held land at Stubham near Ilkley, Yorkshire, England

for some reason there is no listing for the 14th century
the 15th century it starts to take on the names evey one has now...
15th century
Cawdray in (Bramhope spelled Cawdray)

I have more if you would like. I am interested in names and whom they belong too.
so if you come across anything in the 1700's and up to 1880 please pass it along.
