Thank you for being so kind to reply. I am so confused re tracing these two grandparents! I know I must be going about it the hard way. . .without actually flying out to NM. I must think also that the Catholic Church would have something on line to investigate. Do you have much luck with the Church? Now I do know that the children out of the 12 that survived were: 1. Edwardo Aragon (married to a Mary) 2. Celia Aragon 3. Guadalupe (aka Clare or Clair)Aragon 4. Francisco Alberto Aragon. However, they are all now deceased. Re the Chacons and Juan Pablo, I did not mean to mislead you. No, I have no info on these people (I just chose that posted site as a jumping off point for me to begin an informal search to the Aragon links. I do not live in NM. My paternal side is Aragon and maternal is Caviness. (I do find it remarkable that most people are quite happy to share information. However, I got a chuckle when I was going thru my maternal side --the Caviness tree--I noticed there was a lot of territorial pride about access to info, haugtiness and sniping as to who found the best info and the best genealogical authors.)
