I know this could be a long shot but I am looking for information on a Thomas Ardrey who lived in or near Lancaster England and who was an artist in oils and water colours. My mother believes that he was a very close friend of her mother and she has two paintings of his, given to my grandmother. One an oil painting has no date and is has no title but the other is a water colour unframed and given to my grandmother for her birthday in 1910. Any information would be appreciated. The water colour is titled spirit of the waves
