There are at least 3 Samuel Swann Ashes,one in Houston,Tx. John Baptista ashe and Elizabeth Hay's 2nd son Wamuel Swann Ashe m. Sallie Anderson. They had John Baptista who d. 1950 m. Virginia Wilson (no issue) and Sallie DeWitt Ashe who m Carlos Fitch who d. 1942 They had Samuel Ashe Fitch m. Mary Frothingham Low (Baltimore, Md.) had 3. Mary Louise Fitch .Harold Soule (League City Tx.) Do you know their connection with George and Frank Harper of Memphis? Frank was with the Union Planters Bank in Memphis in the early '40s.
