Lucian A. Babb, 60, Kingsport, Sullivan Co TN passed away unexpectly Wednesday (August 22, 2007), at Sunrise Hospital, in Nevada. Born in Scott County, VA (Hillstation), he had lived in Kingsport since he was five years old. He was retired from Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Lucian was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elda Babb; sisters, Joyce Browser, Darlene Bruner and Glenna Wheat; brother, Terry Babb. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Morrell Babb, of the home; mother-in-law, Vergie Morrell, Kingsport, TN; sisters, Marlene Manis, Marsella Cavin and Ruth Arnold all of Kingsport, TN; brothers, Jack Babb, Gary Kay Babb and Phillip Babb all of Kingsport, TN; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, (August 25, 2007) at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Cemetery, Kingsport, TN, with Rev. Johnny Ray Bear, officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to The American Heart Association, 208 Sunset Drive, Johnson City, TN, 37604.
