Some years ago when I did my own Bradstreet research, I saw no indication that this name may also be "Broadstreet" (although I did read that in England, it was orginally Bread Street); so I was quite surprised when I began to do what I thought was Bradstreet research again, after finding bits of information on marriages between my ancestoral families of the surnames Bradstreet, Moor(e)and Mack (the New Hampshire Macks). However: in working backward from the last known Mack/"Bradstreet" marriage, I have found that this name appears on all records only as Broadstreet....Census, land, marriage, etc... Any idea of why this should be? I have begun to back track all the way as much as possible, to see if there is a reason why perhaps this branch should have slightly altered the surname - it is the line of John (2) Bradstreet who md. Sarah Perkins and ends with Lydia Anne Mack who md. Daniel Moore Broadstreet (he was desc. from the Daniel who moved to Ohio).
