Josiah Crofut

Josiah Crofut - born March 25, 1795 in Connecticut, died July 9, 1859 in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Chrispell. Josiah is the son of Josiah Crofut and Rebecca Gregory.

Elizabeth Chrispell was born 1795. She is the daughter of Abram Crispell and Cornelia Sonig.

Children:

1.       Abram Crofut born 1826 in Pennsylvania
2.       Levi Crofut born 1828 in Pennsylvania
3.       Miranda Crofut born 1833 in Pennsylvania
4.       Isaac Marcellus Crofut born September 17, 1842


Josiah Crofut

Josiah Crofut was born August 10, 1769 in Connecticut and died November 19, 1836 in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvanian. He married Rebecca Gregory March 25, 1790 in Danbury, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Josiah is the son of Josiah Crofut and Dinah Boughton.

Rebecca Gregory was born March 15, 1773 in Danbury, Fairfield County, Connecticut an ddied September 3, 1855 in Pennsylvanian. She is the daughter of Daniel Gregory and Charity Hawley.

Children:

1.       Elizabeth Crofut born July 4, 1790 in Danbury, Fairfield County, Connecticut
2.       Hulda Crofut born September 1792 in Danbury, Fairfield County, Connecticut
3.       Josiah Crofut born March 25, 1795 in Connecticut and died July 9, 1859 in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. His spouse is Elizabeth Chrispell
4.       Daniel Crofut born February 7, 1797 and died May 22 1851. He married Sarah Allen
5.       James Libbe Crofut born June 5, 1799 and died March 13, 1837
6.       Eli Crofut born October 1, 1802 and died May 17, 1851
7.       Ezra Crofut born October 12, 1809 in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania and died September 14, 1892. He married twice-1st Almyra Jackson and 2nd Olive Eudorah Parks
8.       Fredrick Crofut who married Harriet Elprick
