James A. Earhart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Earhart of Dover, Tennessee has been keeping warm with a new kind of stove in Korea. The 7th Infantry Division Artillery man, he was among the first soldiers to receive one of the Army's all fuel heaters designed especially for use in tents, bunkers and other field shelters. The stove an be used with coal, wood, charcoal, fuel oil, diesel oil or gasoline. Pvt. Earhart entered the Army in January of this year and arrived in Korea last June. He has been assigned as a cannoneer with Battery C. of the 57th Field Artillery Battalion. If anyone is interested in a copy of the original article, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope.
