Dear Colleen, On my grandmothers side of the family I am linked to the Erb Family through the Strack and Minge Families. My great grandmother's sister Sara Christina Strack married Ernst Edward Erb. Also a sister of my great great grandmother Johanna Emelia Minge married Heinrich Wilhelm Erb in 1908. He was her second husband. And yet again my great great great Grandmother was Wilhelmina Fiege which I believe is a misspelling of the name Feigel. I havent as yet done much research on the Erb family but I do have some information. It does seem that the Strack, Erb, Scholl, Minge, and Kahler families from Geham, Crows Nest, Mt Whitestone and Toowoomba are all quite closly related.
