I am sorry that I told you I have Nathan's will--my mistake since it has been awhile since I looked over what I have. What I do have is the inventory made after his death and the record of the estate sale. I don't know if there might be returns on his estate that would identify the children. Lisa Graham had posted three wills that you've probably seen. They are all in Butts County. George K. Byars who made a will in December 1842; Robert Byars in July 1855 and Temperance Byars in 1874. Each will names a number of family members. She also posted the Standard/Byars Bible Record which shows family of Robert Byars. The Bible says that Robert was the son of James and Elizabeth. I don't know if these people have any close relationship to Nathan. So sorry for giving you the wrong information. You probably have the will of Nathan's daughter Mary Byars who leaves everything to her sister Artemisa Harris and the Harris children. Temperance McWatkins Byars' will mentions several people with the surname Harris but don't know if there is a connection. |
