Hi Thomas, Have you by chance seen this article? http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~greenwolf/brown/brown-hukey.htm Also, I find a Hukey listed on tax list in Jackson County, GA in 1809. Also, on a list for Tax Defaulters for 1811 along with a William Brown in Capt. James Patton's District. I hope some of this helps. I was sure if you had found anything or not. Gigi
