Bob, Thank you for responding to my post on the Benton Co., IA GenForum. I have been trying to find the date of my father's first marriage ca. 1920 - 1925 in Benton Co., IA. His first wife was Jessie Harris O'Hara. My father's name was also Garland W. Edgell. He and Jessie divorced in 1937. She appeared in the 1930 census for Benton Co. as Jessie Eagell, living with her parents - William and Isabelle Harris. She and my dad were already separated at that time. Anything you can find would be greatly appreciated.
