Have no idea why my message is posted 3 times. Sorry about that. Here goes the list of where I found Alexander. 1850 in Henderson Co. IL, spelled Allexander, born about 1838, NY 1860 can't find 1870 in Linn, Kansas, last name spelled Land 1880 in Neosho, Kansas, Alex R 1900 in Labetta, Kansas, Alex R 1910 same place One World Tree said he died in 1927, doesn't say where, wife was Mary Helen Stewart, died 1899, doesn't say where, also a copy of his Civil War file. Hope this helps.
