What I have comes from the Internet and may not be reliable. George W. Jackman (1802- ) Elias Jackman (1767-1852) Stephen Jackman (1740-1807) Elias Jackman (1714-1791) Richard Jackman (1684-1737) all of Newbury. George W.'s mother was Dorothy Wise therefore the W may stand for Wise. I have a Joseph as brother of Elias b.1767 and another as brother of Richard b. 1684.
