Hi from an Austrian Kathan living in Germany, actually I was born in the westernmost part of Austria the state of Vorarlberg. We can trace our Kathan ancestors back to 1639. (this was taken from official records) Maybe there's a link somewhere to all the US Kathan's .... We were guessing that way back the Kathans originated in Sicily the city of Catania. But that's at best a guess...... There seem to be Kathans in Ireland.... Greetings Fridolin Kathan
