Seeking info on family of Albert B Proffit b. ca 1879 Rice Co, KS?, son of J M Proffit and Abigail Browning of Rice Co, KS. Albert m. Maud A Simmons, 24 June 1901, Lyons, Rice Co, KS, dau of Allen Simmons and Hannah Kutcher of Raymond/Alden, Rice Co, KS area. They had at least two daughters, Mildred and Bertha Proffit and may have moved to Calgary, Canada. Think Albert died 1965 in Calgary? I am a desc of Allen Simmons who was my great great grandfather thru his dau Lillie Jane Simmons who m. William Current Monson. I have more info on the Simmons and Monson lines and will share.
