Dear Mr. Lacour- I have been researching my grandfather, IRBY PIERRE LACOUR. My father has told me that he was Huey P Long's campaign manager, Commissioner of Streets and Parks in Alexandria, La and also, the Administrator at the State Mental Hospital in Pineville, in his younger days. He had a brother named Percy, who I remember visiting, who had a daughter named June who was disabled. I do not know if anyone remembers my grandfather, however, U. Percy's dad was Pierre and married to Anna Couvillion. So I am assuming one or both were my grandfather's biological parent. He was married to Ruby Bordelon, and of course, in the 40's and 50's, Alexandria was a small town and we all knew each other, however, being only a toddler, I remember so little. I am desperate to find out about this side of my family. My grandparents had an adopted child, Carolyn Cevella,my mother. I pray something rings a bell-please let me know. Denise Taylor
