Hi, I am still looking for any information that would prove the Mother and Father of James Jonas Likens. The only proof I have is a Bible record that lists Jonas' father as Bill. I assume this is short for William. I have researched several diffrent Williams over the years with no proof found. I did recently find an insert in a cemetery book from Athens McMinn County TN where it states the following: Children of Wm. P and Nancy Reid were Baptized – John & Robert Boyd on 8-20-1826 also David, Willie, Milton, Thomas Likens on Sept 1827, and James on Sept. 10, 1832. Is this our James Jonas Likens? McMinn county at the time borderd Rhea County which Jonas married Serrena in 1836. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Tammy
