Hi Margaret, Is that Portsmouth Ohio or Portsmouth, Virginia? My great grandmother was Rebecca Liming b. abt. 1845 md. Reuben Hicks. They lived in Greenup KY., Portsmouth, Scioto Co. KY. and buried in Boyd Co. KY. (near Ashland, KY. in Northeastern KY) Please post a message here if any possible connection. The name Lemming/Liming is spelled so many diffferent ways!
