Hi all- I'm looking to find more info on my ancestors. I'm already subscribed to ancetry.com and have used other genealogy websites to help with my search. However, I have come to a road block and decided to reside temporally to posting messages in hopes that someone out there may know any info on my ancestors of the last names Martinez, Salazar and Hernandez.
Martinez: My great, great grandmother's name was Crispinia Martinez. She was born abt. 1860 in Mexico and died 1925 in Winslow, Navajo, Arizona. I have a copy of her death certificate however it unfortunately does not list her parents names.
Salazar: Crispinia had a daughter by the name of Virginia Salazar born abt. 1885 in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. Her death place and year is unknown along with her father being unknown.
Hernandez: Virginia married Soltero R. Hernandez. Soltero was born abt. 1883 in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico and died 1959 in Los Angeles, Ca.
Virginia and Soltero had five children together, Luz (female), Juan aka (John), Davie aka (David), Jose and Refugio.
The whole family migrated out of Mexico and into the U.S. settling in Winslow, Navajo, Arizona in 1916. Then later moved to Los Angeles, Ca in the late 20's early 30's. I have already found the 1920 and 1930 census on my ancestors. I'm looking to find info such as Virginia's death certificate along with her father's name, Soltero's parents name and Crispinia's parents name in order to further my search.
I'm also hoping to maybe connect with a relative or anyone in general that can help me find more information. Thank you :)
