ROUND KNOLL NEWS:

JOE BOHALL is hauling cordwood for MR. GREENLAND from Long Creek bottom to higher ground.

BEN ELSTON returned last Friday from Kansas where he had been visiting relatives and looking for a new location.

MRS. C.M. AKES, of Leon, was a Monday visitor at the home of her sister, MRS. JOSEPH DOBSON.

SAM MCMURTREY returned Thursday from Nebraska where he has been visiting relatives.

BYRON HALL called at WILL TAYLOR's Wednesday evening.

MRS. EARL GREGG, who has been quite ill, is better at this writing.

LILLIE BARBER and JESSIE ARMOGAST visited Thursday with MRS. BOB CROUCH.

NORAH DOBSON began a spring term of school at Round Knoll Monday.

MRS. ADA TWOMBLEY is very ill at this writing. Her father arrived Thursday from Kansas.

WILLIAM TAYLOR and family spent Saturday with BEN ELSTON.

Died, at his home near Lacelle, JOHN COFIELD, aged 69 years. He leaves a wife, eight children and four grandchildren to mourn his loss. The funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. C.J. Heckathorn after which his remains were laid away in the Lacelle Cemetery.

JOHN BARBER and family Sundayed with MRS. JOHN COFIELD and family.
