I recently read where Munchberg, Germany is a "partner city" to Jefferson City in Cole County. A number of the original German settlers in Jefferson City, in a district south of downtown, came from the Munchberg area. My great-grandfather was born in Munchberg and settled north of Kansas City in the 1850's. Would be interested to know if anyone in the "Old Munchberg" section of Jefferson City has connections to the family of Ludwig Keller and his wife Maria Luise Becker of Munchberg.
