My aunt/godmother was Willie Mae Barnett, bn ca 1912 in Waynesboro? Ms. died 1993 in New Orleans. Her family lived in Meridian. Trying to find her parents, siblings, place of birth. Only info I have and not sure how correct, is that her parents may be Eli/Elijah Barnett and Mamie. No maiden name known for Mamie. Her siblings may have been Thelma, Henry and Vartman. I seem to remember her visiting a sister in Meridian when I was small. She was married in the late 1930's to my uncle Milen Embry and had a daughter Hazel Ruth Embry bn 1940 in New Orleans.
