Seeing information on John H. BEAUFORT born abt 1807 and wife Hester of Wilmington, NC. John's occupation was that of a lumber inspector. Children of John H. and Hester Beaufort (taken from 1850 Census) M- Augustus, b. abt 1834 F- E. J., b. abt 1838 F- H. C., b. abt 1840 F- A. E. (Possibly Anne E., b. abt 1832 F- M. S. (Possibly Martha S., b. abt 1846 1860 Census-Northwest Dist, Brunswick Co., NC P 213 - HH35 N. C. WILLIAMS 36 M Laborer b. NC Ann E. 21 F. b. NC Hamilton 5 M b. NC John N. 7/12 M b. NC Nathan C. Williams and Ann E. Beaufort/Beauford were md. in Wilmington, NC on 7 Oct. 1858. Nathan C died in a prison camp after being captured in the C.W. Would like to locate wife and children after 1860.
