Thanks Helen, I've read about every book on him except the one by Crow, but it's on the way. Will was my 5th great-grandfather. Angeline, his daughter was my 4th great-grandmother. I'm still looking for her mother's name. She had a union/marriage with Will prior to his marrying Sarah Love in 1857. She is believed to be a Cherokee woman. I was given the name of Catherine Hyde, as a possiblity. She and Will supposedly had 5 children prior to 1840. I have been searching for the name of these children in hopes that one of them was "Demarius Angeline THOMAS who later married Samuel Parks SHERRILL. Hear or know of anything, let me know.
