I have family information that my gr grandfather was born
at Catskill, New York.

I found the following info online at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nygreen2/

Christ Presbyterian Church baptism Green County, New York gen.
May 7 1852 John, infant son of John Gray and Agnes Gray
July 7 , 1854 _____ of John Gray and Agnes Gray

If this is the right family John 1852 is my gr grandfather and the blank name
is probably Andrew

On Ancestry, census records are as follows:

I also found 1850 census Catskill, Greene County, NY
taken on Sept 19 1850 in the home of Aberl, D. G. 583/403.
John Gray (indexed as age 63) appears to be age 30 Scotland merchant
Agnes no last name age ??Scotland

(Agnes is listed as AGNUS with no last name and age 65 although I belive it to be 28)

As they are one above the other I believe this to be my great grandparents.

What other records might be available for Greene County for the early 1850s?
I do not know if they married in Scotland or the US.
I do not know what year (s) they came to the US.
I do not know if their parents came to the US.
Are there court records or possibly land records available?
Were relatives buried in Greene County?

With common names and without dates I found several possibilites in Ancestry immigration records.

Thank you
