I have a question about marriage records for 1858 Hocking County. DO you know if they put the parents names on the applications for marriage that far back? I know they did in 1870's but I am unsure how far back they did it. I have a marriage of an Andrew Brooks to a Mariah E Quarterman on Dec 2, 1858. I need to know who his parents are. Also with Civil War records. Are there any records in the counties on those who served and when they died? I can't find Andrew and Mariah after 1860. I think he might have died and she remarried. They had a son named Isaac F. (possibly Francis)in 1860 census. Thanks in Advance for any help you can give me. Cindy
