April; You were close on his name being John, her Father was John and he had a brother named John. I found info on Joseph and Jane. They went to Pike Co, Missouri in 1852, the whole family. Must have been right after Martha and Benjamin Waters were married. I found the obituary for Joseph in the Madison Co paper. He died Feb 1, 1870. If you get into GenCircles and Rootsweb and punch in their names, you'll bring up the entire family line on these two. Joseph's parents are buried in Madison Co also. I'll start looking for the family of Jane and Benjamin's the next time I go to town. There's 17 Denton obit's listed in the index with 12 of them prior to 1900. Email me at tdewitt124@juno.com
