William F Ballou abt 1831-1863 married Elizabeth Beazell of Westmoreland Co Pa Children born btw 1853-1863 were Martha(married John L Houseman), James, Jane, Case, and Benjamin.I can only find Elizabeth as a widow in 1880 and 1900 living with daughter Martha's family.
