Hi David I have just recently met Denis Rampling and am helping him with his family tree.( He is the grandson of William H Rampling) I found, as you did, Mary Rampling( nee Webster) living with her two children at her mother's house. Have you considered that he may have been away at maybe the Boer War? Any other information you have on the family would be much appreciated. Regards Val Whitby
