Many apologies at not getting back to you earlier. I have just logged on to the site today after months and found your message; somehow I must have missed seeing that there was a message waiting way back then.
Here goes on your Vale Renouf's
The earliest one Came from the Priaulx library so I'm confident of it
This was Thomas Renouf buried 29 Aug 1773 Vale . He married 1] Esther Le Maitre 9 Oct 1736 and had two children Easther b 27 5 1744 and Jean b 2 9 1745.[ I wonder if this son is named for gf?]
Esther d 9 12 1746 Vale and Thomas m 2]Judith Bisson 4 Feb 1747. The only child I have is Thomas who m Elizabeth Robin [ which you have] They had 14 children.
1]Elizabeth b 1782 who m Jean Bourgard
2] Thomas b 1783 d 1783
3] Thomas b 1785 d 1862 m Susanne Machon [ more later]
4 Jeanne b 1786
5] Marthe b 1787 m Nicolas Robin
6] Jean b 1788
7] Charlotte b 1789 m Jean Mahy
8]Marie b 1791 m Ettienne Mahy
9] Judith b 1794 [as you know]
10] Jean b 1797 m Rachel Bichard
11 Estherb1799 m Jean Gavet
12] Nicolas Robin b 1802
13] Martin b 1804 m Margueriote Fleur
14] Susanne b 1807 m Jean Rihoy [ more on these]
Elizabeth Robin d 1813; no doubt of exhaustion!!
Some of the 9 children of Thomas b 1785 and Susanne Machon emmigrated and one of their gchildren.
Thomas b 1820 m Eliza Aslett went to Canada before 1861 but seem to have left their children behind.
Lucy Robin Renouf b 1828 migrated with Daniel Rihoy to Australia as did youngest d Sophie b 1831 who m Henry Sebire
Susanne Renouf who m Jean Rihoy[ above ] had d Martha who m Henry Sebire after he was widowed by Sophies death
It would seem that the Guernsey families in and around Melbourne Australia intermarried for some time.
Jill Sebire's husband is descended from Henry who apparently built the first Methodist Church in the Yarra Valley at Wandin.
I see from Channel Is list you have a Marie Trachy. It could be the same one who may have been widowed by 1841.
Hope this is better late than Never! Once again apologies
